DNS setting method for using Lolipop and BASE with Onamae.com

Onamae.com
Here's how to set up DNS when using a custom domain obtained at Lolipop!
server and BASE
for a subdomain.
Table of Contents
What to do and preparation
With a custom domain "e.g., example.jp" obtained at Onamae.com,
Display Lolipop server's site at "example.jp"
Display BASE at "shop.example.jp"
Let's say you want to do this.
To use a domain obtained at Onamae.com with a Lolipop server,
you need to change the name servers from Onamae.com's administration screen as follows:
Primary Name Server uns01.lolipop.jp
Secondary Name Server uns02.lolipop.jp
First, set this up and proceed with the next steps after example.jp can correctly display the Lolipop server's site.

Find Lolipop server's IP
Find the IP address of example.jp (Lolipop server).
※Please do this when example.jp is correctly viewable. (Do not do this if DNS settings are incorrect.)
Enter the "Hostname", select "ANY" for the option, and click "Execute nslookup".
This is the Lolipop server's IP address, so make a note of it.
Let's assume it was "123.4.567.89" here.
If using Lolipop Mail, also find the mail server
If you use Lolipop Mail (○○@example.jp), also make a note of the mail server.
Make a note of "mx01.lolipop.jp" under "mail exchanger" in the previous results.
If it's a Lolipop server, it should be the same "mx01.lolipop.jp".
Set up DNS records
Now, we will set up DNS records from Onamae.com's administration screen.
Name Server > Domain DNS Settings
Select the relevant domain and click "Next"
Use "DNS Record Settings"
First, enter the DNS record to link with the Lolipop server.
Enter the following information and click "Add"
| Hostname | Leave blank |
|---|---|
| TYPE | A |
| TTL | 3600 (default) |
| VALUE | 123.4.567.89 (IP obtained earlier) |
Next, we will enter BASE's DNS record, but a preset was available.
Click "Set" for BASE
Then, the fields from TYPE onwards will be filled, so enter your desired subdomain in "Hostname".
This time, enter "shop" and click "Add"
If there is no preset, please enter it manually.
| Hostname | Arbitrary (e.g., shop) |
|---|---|
| TYPE | CNAME |
| TTL | 3600 (default) |
| VALUE | cname.thebase.in |

Also, the order doesn't matter, so you can enter BASE's DNS record first.
If using Lolipop Mail, also add mail records
Even if you're not sure if you'll use it, I think there's no harm in adding it.
Enter the following information and click "Add"
| Hostname | Leave blank (if not a subdomain) |
|---|---|
| TYPE | MX |
| TTL | 3600 (default) |
| VALUE | mx01.lolipop.jp (Enter the one obtained here) |
| Priority | 10 |
Let's also add an SPF record so that emails are delivered correctly.
Enter the following information and click "Add"
| Hostname | Leave blank (if not a subdomain) |
|---|---|
| TYPE | TXT |
| TTL | 3600 (default) |
| VALUE | v=spf1 +mx ip4:123.4.567.89 ~all (Enter the IP obtained here for '123.4.567.89') |
Once the above information is entered, save it from the bottom of the page.
An alert will appear because the name server is being changed, but proceed with "Confirm".
Ultimately, it should look like this.
This completes the DNS record settings.
It should take about an hour for the changes to propagate, but "example.jp" should continue to be viewable without issues afterward.
Set up BASE's 'Custom Domain App'
Install the "Custom Domain App" in BASE
and enter "shop.example.jp".
If the DNS record settings have propagated, it will show "Set up", and BASE will be viewable at "shop.example.jp".
