A trick for couples to share Inageya points

A trick for couples to share Inageya points

Here's a trick for multiple people to share Inageya points.

This method was shared by a service counter staff member with a "it might be possible" level of confidence, but
the general flow is as follows:

  1. One spouse issues a point card (it's OK if they already have one)
  2. The other spouse uses Inageya's LINE integration feature to link with the point card from step 1.

This is the flow.

In this article, we will explain by assuming that person A issues a point card and person B links it with LINE as an example.

Issue a point card (only if you don't already have one)

(If you already have a point card, you can skip this step.)

If you don't have one, download the Inageya app to person A's smartphone and issue a point card.

I believe a physical card issued at the store, instead of the app, would also be fine.

Once you open the app:

Tap "Those who do not have a point card"

Inageya App New Membership / My Page Registration

Tap the pink "ing・fan club card" button

Once membership registration is complete, you will be able to display the point card barcode on person A's smartphone.

Link with LINE

We will proceed with LINE integration on person B's smartphone.

For this, you will need the "point card number", so

Note down the point card number displayed on person A's smartphone.
(The red box contains the same number)

Inageya Point Card App

Open LINE on person B's smartphone and search for "Inageya".

LINE Search Inageya

Add as a friend, then tap "Point Card Link" from the chat screen.

LINE Inageya Chat Screen

Enter the "point card number" you noted earlier and the date of birth used for registration, then tap "Link Card".

LINE Inageya Point Card Link

It will display "Point card linked."

LINE Inageya Point Card Link

Tapping "Card" in the bottom right corner will now allow person B's smartphone to display the point card.

To be able to access this screen quickly, we will add it to the home screen.

Tap "Add to Home Screen" from the share icon in the top right.

Add to Home Screen

Proceeding with the operation will allow you to add it to the home screen.
Tapping this icon will launch LINE and display the Inageya point card.

That concludes the trick for multiple people to share Inageya point cards.
