Note Sharing Settings

First, let's check the note sharing settings.

Tap the share icon in the top right of the note.

Confirm that it says "Collaboration" here.

If you select "Send Copy," it won't be a collaborative note, but you can send the current note to others.

Let's check one more setting.

Tap here.

Then a screen like this will open.

If you select "Only invited people," you will need the recipient's AppleID (email address) or phone number.

Since you might have LINE friends whose AppleID or phone number you don't know or can't ask for, it might be better to choose "Anyone with the link" in some cases.

Send via LINE

Now, let's send the invitation via LINE.

Tap the share icon in the top right of the note.

Here, instead of "LINE," tap "Invite with Link" to proceed smoothly.

Enter the recipient in "To."
(This screen will still appear even if you selected "LINE" previously.)

If you selected "Anyone with the link," this step will be skipped.

Tap "Share Link."

Nothing will happen, but the invitation link is now copied, so let's send it via LINE.

Paste the invitation link.

Then, append the following to the end of the URL.

?openExternalBrowser=1

Like this.

Be careful not to include line breaks in the middle of the URL.

When sent, the entire text will correctly become a link.

Therefore, when the recipient opens a link with ?openExternalBrowser=1 appended, a popup like this will appear

When you tap "Open"

the note will open immediately.

This completes the steps for sending shared notes via LINE.
