[iOS 18] Two settings to allow location information in Safari

To display your current location, please allow the browser to use location information from settings

Here are two settings to allow websites to use location information in Safari on iPhone.

Procedure

First Location

Open "Settings > Apps > Safari > Location".

iPhone Settings > Apps > Safari > Location

Check "Ask Next Time".
(While "Allow" is also an option, "Ask Next Time" is recommended.)

Access to location information for all websites Ask Next Time

(In my case, it was already set to "Ask Next Time".)

In my case, this alone didn't change the situation.

To display your current location, please allow the browser to use location information from settings

Second Location

Next, open "Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services".

iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services

Open "Safari Websites" and check "Ask Next Time or When Sharing" or "While Using the App".

Safari Websites Ask Next Time or When Sharing

(In my case, it was set to "Never".)

Now, when you open Safari again, a screen like this will appear.
Tap "Allow Once" or "Allow While Using App".

Allow Safari to use your location? Allow Once

Next, the permission settings for each website will be displayed.
Since I want to allow it for this site, I tap "Allow".

○○ is trying to use your location. Safari currently has access to your approximate location. Do you want to allow ○○ to also access your location?

With this, you can now allow websites to use location information.
