I almost gave up on TV output, but after much research, I found this product.

It seems to output to TV using a technology called "MiraScreen", rather than the common DisplayPort standard.
I bought it to try, and since it worked without any issues, I'm reviewing it.
This product recommends a 5V2A AC adapter, so it's good to have one of these on hand for peace of mind.

Trying with iPhone16e
This is what arrived. It came in a small box.
The instructions are only in English and Chinese. For Japanese, you scan a QR code and view it on the web.
Here's what's inside.
Connect it like this.
It's best to connect in the order of ① to ③.
It consists of four parts: an HDMI terminal, a USB-A terminal (for power supply), a USB-C terminal, and a Lightning terminal.
The length from the TV's HDMI terminal to the smartphone's USB-C terminal is approximately 2m.
Now, let's connect it.
① Connect the USB-A terminal to an AC adapter and plug it into an outlet.
The instructions state "5V2A AC adapter recommended". (The photo above shows a 5V2A one.)
Even with a 5V1A adapter that came with older iPhones, screen output was possible,
but it might be safer to have a 5V2A AC adapter ready.

② Connect the HDMI terminal to the TV.(To input 1 or 2, etc.)
③ Connect the USB-C terminal to the iPhone.
Since it also has a Lightning terminal, it seems usable with Lightning devices.
When I selected the input on the TV, the screen was successfully output!
Photos are also displayed in full screen.
In the next chapter, I will test whether major streaming services like YouTube and Prime Video can be displayed.

Testing if various services can be displayed
I will test whether major streaming services like YouTube and Prime Video can be displayed.
In conclusion, this was the result in my environment.

The screen looked like this, and it didn't display.
It says 'does not meet the criteria'.
U-NEXT
When I tried to play a video, the loading never finished, and it couldn't play.
When I unplugged the cable, playback started immediately, and when I reconnected it, it went back to loading.
No explicit warning message appeared, but the conclusion is that it cannot play.
YouTube, Abema, Google Photos
These played without any issues.
The product image for the cable also lists 'YouTube', 'Abema', 'ZOOM', and 'TVer (iOS only)', and the results were as expected.

Trying with other devices
iPhone15
It was confirmed that it can also be used with "iPhone15", which supports the DisplayPort standard.
Compared to DisplayPort, this product's "MiraScreen" seems to have inferior latency, stability, and image quality, and some services cannot be played, so I think it's better to use a proper DisplayPort conversion adapter.
DisplayPort conversion adapters are introduced below.
If you're using it with a non-DisplayPort compatible device and don't require advanced features, MiraScreen might be sufficient.
iPad mini 6
It was confirmed that it can also be used with "iPad mini 6", which supports the DisplayPort standard.
Android
I'll also try it with the "OPPO A54 5G" I had on hand.
When I connected it to the HDMI cable, I was prompted to install an app.

For Android, it seems an app installation is required.
Reluctantly installed for verification...
It didn't work on the first try, so after reconnecting all HDMI cables and trying a few times,
mirroring was successful.
After installing the app, it asked for permissions for Bluetooth, location information, and call history, which felt very suspicious.
However, I only denied call history, and it still managed to mirror, so I concluded that it works.
