The other day, I bought two iPhone16e for my parents.

My parents often connect their phones to the TV,

so I bought a Belkin USB-C to HDMI adapter as a set...

※Please note that the above product cannot be used with iPhone16e.

However, it turns out that the USB-C ports on iPhone16e, 17e, and iPhone Air **do not support video output...**

I thought it wouldn't be possible to connect to a TV, but **after some research, I found this product.**

It seems to use a mysterious technology called "MiraScreen" instead of the common DisplayPort standard to output to a TV.

I bought it to try, and **it worked without any issues**, so I'm reviewing it.

Here's what arrived. It came in a small box.

iPhone16e MiraScreen Cable

The instruction manual is only in English and Chinese. For Japanese, you scan a QR code and view it on the web.

MiraScreen Instruction Manual

Here's what's inside.

MiraScreen HDMI USB-C Cable

It consists of four parts: an HDMI terminal, a USB-A terminal (for power supply), a USB-C terminal, and a Lightning terminal.

The length from the HDMI terminal on the TV side to the USB-C terminal on the smartphone side is approximately 2m.

Now, let's connect it.

Connect the USB-C terminal to the iPhone.

Since it also has a Lightning terminal, it seems usable with Lightning devices.

Connect the HDMI terminal to the TV.(This is where you'd find Input 1 or 2, etc.)

HDMI Terminal

Connect the USB-A terminal to an AC adapter and plug it into an outlet.

The instruction manual recommended a "5V2A AC adapter," but I was able to output the screen even with an old 5V1A adapter that came with an iPhone.

When I selected the HDMI input on the TV, the screen was successfully outputted!

Photos are also displayed in full screen.

That concludes the introduction of an HDMI cable that can output the screen to a TV even with iPhone16e, 17e, and iPhone Air.
