How to deal with Google Drive links not opening directly in the app when sent via LINE
When you send a Google Drive shared link via LINE,
it opens in LINE's in-app browser, and the Google login screen appears.

Paste the URL into a note and open it
This is for the receiver.
Copy the URL that was sent to you,
and temporarily paste it into a note.
When you tap that link,
the Google Drive app will launch!
If the sharing settings are correct, you should be able to view the file.
Add a parameter to the URL and send it
This is for the sender.
Add the following parameter to the URL and send it.
?openExternalBrowser=1If the URL already contains "?" use this
&openExternalBrowser=1If the URL is like this:
https://drive.google.com/drive/abcd
Send it like this:
https://drive.google.com/drive/abcd?openExternalBrowser=1
If the URL already contains "?":
https://drive.google.com/drive/abcd?utm=efgh
Connect it with "&".
https://drive.google.com/drive/abcd?utm=efgh&openExternalBrowser=1
Send it like this:
When the receiver taps the link, the Google Drive app should launch directly.
This openExternalBrowser=1 parameter is a LINE URL scheme feature called "Open in external browser".
By adding this parameter to the URL and sending it, you can open it directly in the OS's default Safari or Chrome, or various apps, instead of the in-app browser.
