I Received 1000 Points as a Continuation Bonus When Trying to Cancel LYP Premium

Currently in 2026, register for LYP Premium and receive 5000 yen worth of PayPay points!
Since the points from this campaign have been awarded, I decided to cancel my LYP Premium subscription.

When I tapped the "Cancel" button on the LYP Premium cancellation page,

a button saying "Enter to receive 1,000 yen worth" appeared!?!?

Proceeding further, I was redirected to a page titled "Enter and continue membership to receive 1,000 yen worth of PayPay points next month", so I decided to enter for now.

Since the LYP Premium membership fee is 508 yen per month, it's a calculation where you effectively gain 492 yen.(As of April 2026)
