Here's how to jump 8 blocks with Wind Charge and achieve the new advancement "Who Needs Rockets?" added in the Minecraft 1.21 "Tricky Trials" update.
To achieve this advancement, you need to reach a height of 8 blocks in a single jump, not multiple jumps.
If you're reading this article, you're probably like me: at first, I couldn't jump high at all and ended up using about a stack of Wind Charges...
Here are some tips for achieving this advancement using a PS4.
Note that in the Bedrock Edition, the item is called "Wind Charge" and the advancement name is "Who Needs Rockets?".

Preparation
Build an 8-block tall tower.
Remove your armor. (Especially Netherite)
If you wear armor, the knockback resistance will likely prevent you from jumping high.
Jumping Tips
While crouching, use a Wind Charge immediately after jumping.
Once I started crouching, I was able to jump significantly higher.
The timing for using the Wind Charge is immediately after jumping. Like a "tap-tap" sound.
