[Minecraft] How to jump 8 blocks with Wind Charge and achieve the 'Who Needs Rockets?' advancement

We'll show you how to jump 8 blocks with the Wind Charge, added in the Minecraft 1.21 "Tricky Trials" update,
and achieve the new advancement "Who Needs Rockets?".

To achieve this advancement, you need to reach a height of 8 blocks in a single jump, not multiple jumps.

If you're reading this article, you're probably like me: at first, I couldn't fly high at all and ended up using about a stack of Wind Charges...

I'll share tips on how to achieve this advancement using a PS4.

Note that in the Bedrock Edition, it's "Wind Burst" instead of "Wind Charge",
and the advancement name is "Who needs rockets?" instead of "No need for rockets".

I've also summarized it in a video.

Preparation

Build an 8-block tower.

Stacking 8 blocks

Remove your armor. (Especially Netherite)

Removing Netherite armor

If you wear armor, the knockback resistance will probably prevent you from flying high.

Jump Tips

While crouching, use a Wind Charge immediately after jumping.

Once I started crouching, I could fly significantly higher.

The timing to use the Wind Charge is right after jumping. Like a "tap-tap" sound.

Advancement (Trophy) achieved!
