Review of Doshisha Mini Steam Iron DMS-2103
A quick review of the Doshisha mini steam iron PIERIA "DMS-2103BL", also available at Nitori!
Despite its compact size, it has a good weight, giving the impression of a proper "iron" rather than a toy.
While it might not be suitable for heavy-duty use, I felt it was sufficient for simple ironing and sewing.

Appearance
The packaging looks like this.
Unboxing.
The iron body, instruction manual, and measuring cup were included.
Its size is about the same as an iPhone.
The power cable length is 1.5m.
Viewed from the side, it looks like this.
The temperature can be set steplessly to low, medium, or high.
It feels like this when held.
It's small, but not too small, which is nice.
It can also be stood upright.
It has its own weight, so it feels reasonably stable.

Trying it out
Let's actually try using it.
First, pour water into the water inlet with the included measuring cup.
Turn the temperature control dial to "High". (The lamp will light up)
Once the set temperature is reached, the lamp turns off, and you can start ironing.
I'll try to put a crease in a hat I'm making.
Pressing the lever on the handle releases a "whoosh" of steam.
It smoothed out nicely!
Next, I'll try ironing a wrinkled bib.
I wouldn't say it's perfect, but it smoothed out sufficiently!(It's due to my amateur skills...)
