Application

お名前.com Access Onamae.com.

Enter the domain you want to acquire and click 'Search'.
If you want to acquire 'knis.net', enter 'knis'.

The domain availability will be displayed.
If it shows '○', it's available.
'×' or 'bell mark' means it's unavailable.
Click on your desired domain, confirm the selected product, then click 'Proceed to next'.

Select the domain's purpose.
If you are not using Onamae.com's rental server (e.g., using another server like Lolipop), select
'If you already have a server here (including plans to use another company's server)'.

If you select any of the top four options, products other than the domain will be automatically added to your cart in the next step.
Please be careful.

The application details confirmation will be displayed.
Basically, all options are unnecessary, so uncheck them.
If you don't have an Onamae ID, set your email address and password from 'First-time users' and click 'Next'.

Enter your member information.
If you don't want newsletters, select 'Do not receive'.

Register your credit card.
Confirm that the selected items listed on the right are only 'knis.net 1-year registration XX yen' and 'Whois information disclosure proxy 0 yen' (only necessary items), then click 'Apply'.

A popup will appear, but close it.

The application completion screen will be displayed.
As stated in red, email address verification is required. Check your email. (See below)

Email Address Validity Verification

Perform email address validity verification.

Click the URL in the email with the subject line '【Important】[Onamae.com] Domain Information Verification Request'.

If it looks like this, it's OK. Close the screen.

Opening the Management Screen

First, the email with the subject '[Onamae.com] Member Information Change Completion Notification' contains your 'Onamae ID' (8-digit number). Make a note of it as it's required for login.

Let's try accessing Onamae.com's management screen.

Here you can access the login screen.

Enter the 'Onamae ID' you noted earlier and your password, then click 'Login'.

Enter the two-factor authentication code.

The management screen has opened.
Just check if domain auto-renewal is turned on.

Click on the relevant domain.

If domain auto-renewal is 'Set', then it's OK.

If you chose credit card as the payment method, auto-renewal will be on by default.
