[GoPro] Review of TELESIN's Battery Cover for Charging While Recording

I recently upgraded to a GoPro HERO10, but

With the HERO10, you have to leave the battery cover open to record while charging.

While leaving it open is an option, the battery might come loose, so I'd prefer to avoid it if possible.

So, I purchased a battery cover from a manufacturer called "TELESIN".

This battery cover is compatible with GoPro HERO9, 10, 11, and 12, and has a USB-C port, allowing you to record while charging.

Here's what the package looked like when it arrived.

Now, let's install it.

Open the battery cover to about this angle, then give it a quick pull to remove it.

Insert the TELESIN battery cover.

Close it securely with the latch, just like the original battery cover.

This way, you can record while charging. (I've been waiting for this!)

You can also wrap and secure the cable like this.

The product description claims it is rainproof and snowproof,

The USB-C port is just the right size for a USB-C cable to fit snugly.

Indeed, it looks like it would be difficult for some rain or snow to get in with this.

I want to use it as a dashcam on my motorcycle, so I'm happy that it seems to have high dust resistance.

With this, I should be able to record for long periods with the HERO10 while charging.
