How to fix the issue where Media Player crashes on Win11

This is about how I fixed the issue where Media Player crashes and cannot play videos on Windows 11.

Solution

From "Settings > Apps > Installed apps", open the "Advanced options" for Media Player.

First, I tried "Repair" → No luck.
Next, I tried "Reset", and then I was able to play videos.

Please be careful if you are using Media Player's history or playlist features.

I suspect the cause might have been that I had turned off Media Player's history using a workaround.
