How to Use Flexible Table Block

Once the plugin is installed, "Flexible Table" can be inserted as a block.

Many other table plugins require you to create tables on a dedicated screen and insert them with shortcodes. While that might be highly functional, if you just want to create a simple table, this type is easier to edit, isn't it?

Set the number of columns and rows, then create the table.

When you select a cell, you can set various options in the right-hand menu.

From "Cell Settings > Cell Tag", you can select "TH" to make it a header cell. This is what I wanted to do!

Other essential features include cell merging and vertical stacking on smartphones.

Select multiple cells while holding the Ctrl key, then merge them from "Merge Cells".

You can also split cells that have been merged.

With the table selected, you can make it stack vertically on smartphones from "Table Settings > Stack Vertically on Mobile".

It's perfect.

Also, "Flexible Table Block" applies various unique CSS styles.

If you want to apply your own styles,

from "Global Settings"

click "Reset"

to prevent styles from being applied.

Similarly, for "Cell Styles", click "Reset" for all.

This will minimize the unique CSS applied.

I think Flexible Table Block is the only table plugin you need.
